Our History
HopeWay Church began in the early months of 2004 with the God-given dream of a small group of believers. Our first public worship service was held on February 1, 2004, in the offices of Integrated Staffing Solutions in Simpsonville, SC. We soon outgrew that space and moved to the conference room of the Palmetto Inn in Simpsonville.
With a desire for a more permanent space for worship and ministry, we were soon blessed to use the offices of Putt's-U-Lock storage facility on Highway 418 in Fountain Inn. We are forever indebted to Carl Putnam for his generosity in letting us use these facilities for our ministries.
In June of 2005 we moved into our current campus. God has blessed us with a place to worship Him in Jesus Christ and to minister to others in the name of Jesus.
Our prayer is that we will continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ in the years to come and be a light to those around us. One of our mottos is "Show Them Jesus" from a song of that name. That truly has been the passion of HopeWay Church from those early days in 2004 til this day and for all our days to come until Jesus returns!
